Purpose & Philosophy of the Financial Aid Office

It is the mission of the Financial Aid Office to provide the financial resources for students to attend Indian Hills, and in doing so, exhibit the highest level of quality and expertise in the services we provide. This mission adheres to and supports the Indian Hills mission of changing lives by inspiring learning, diversity, social enrichment and regional economic advancement. The primary goal of the office is to assist students as they pursue their education beyond high school by providing quality customer service, by obtaining the highest level of knowledge of financial aid regulations and programs, and by timely processing and disbursing of financial aid. The office will strive for continual improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.

The financial aid programs at Indian Hills are administered in conjunction with the policy that the family is the primary and responsible resource for helping students meet their educational costs. Financial aid programs are available to assist in meeting the difference between potential resources and college expenses. The manual is designed to help you understand the financial aid process and to explain the types of financial aid programs available to you during your education at Indian Hills. Please read the manual carefully and monitor it regularly for updates.
